BIRMINGHAM– As construction continues in downtown Birmingham for Interstate Improvements, the Alabama Department of Transportation says drivers should expect delays.

The following closures will take place weather permitting:

• I-59/20 SB from Tallapoosa Street to the Carraway Blvd. exit will be closed Thursday, June 11^th through Saturday, June 13^th from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. for striping.
