BIRMINGHAM– As construction continues in downtown Birmingham for Interstate Improvements, the Alabama Department of Transportation says drivers should expect delays.

The following closures will take place weather permitting:

• 18^th Street between Rev. Abraham Woods and 9^th Avenue N will be closed Thursday, August 6^th through August 13^th from 12 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. for curb/gutter/sidewalk and patching.

BIRMINGHAM– As construction continues in downtown Birmingham for Interstate Improvements, the Alabama Department of Transportation says drivers should expect the following delays, weather permitting:

• 24^th Street N between Rev. Abraham Woods and Richard Arrington Blvd. will be closed Tuesday, July 28th through Friday, July 31^st for replacement of a manhole.
