BIRMINGHAM–As construction continues in downtown Birmingham for Interstate Improvements, the Alabama Department of Transportation says drivers should expect delays.

The following closures will take place weather permitting, during the removal of the existing structures:

  • Carraway Blvd. between 11th Avenue and 26th Street North will be closed Wednesday, March 13th from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. for crane mobilization.
